How can you get what you want? The answer has to do with how you manage your mind and what you are focused on. What you focus on, you will create more of.
Think about that for a moment.
What is one thing you want for your life these days? A new job? Relationship? Better health?
How are you spending your time and energy? Are you thinking about what happened in the past and everything that was wrong with it?
Or all you listing all the things you don’t want and telling yourself that is only what you attract?
Imagine yourself driving a car. You look right and you see something out the window. Maybe it’s a beautiful view. Whatever. It’s captured your attention.
What happens if you look at the beautiful view for a bit too long? Your car will probably start drifting to the right. Your car will go where your attention is, and it follows your focus and your energy.
It is exactly the same when you try to create a new result in your life.
If, for instance, you want a new relationship. When you spend all your energy on thinking about what you don’t want and you tell yourself that you only attract partners with those undesirable traits, that IS what you will continue to attract.
Your brain will focus on finding what you think about.
You won’t see any better options.
So, my suggestion is to make a list of what you do want. Make it as detailed as you can.
Visualise what the result you want looks like.
Imagine how you would feel once you have it.
Review the list regularly (daily, if possible).
Every time your brain starts telling you the ways you won’t be able to get what you want, stop, take a pause and redirect your brain to imagine exactly what you want looks like and how it would feel to have it.
What you focus on, you create more of.
When it comes to getting what you want, you have to decide what you want to create and manage your mind!
